Pomodoro Timer: Study Focus

A Pomodoro timer should do one thing without fail: tell you when time is up. This one hands every session to Android's exact alarms, so it keeps time with the app closed, the screen off and the phone asleep, and it rings on your alarm volume, not as a quiet notification.

A timer you can trust

Most timer apps count down inside the app, so when your phone puts the app to sleep the timer drifts, freezes or shows negative numbers. Here the end time belongs to the system. The countdown on your lock screen and the home screen widgets tick by themselves, and the Alarm check proves it on your own phone: it runs a 15-second test with the screen locked and tells you how late the alarm rang. If your phone's battery saver holds alarms back, Strict alarms end every session with Android's alarm clock instead.

Every length is included

Twist the dial like a kitchen timer to any length from 1 to 120 minutes. 25/5, 50/10, 90-minute deep work: nothing about the timer is locked or sold.

What you can do

• Pomodoro study timer with focus, short break and long break, and rounds you choose

• Auto-start breaks and focus sessions, or start each one yourself

• Loud end alarm with its own volume, vibration and ring length

• Countdown in the notification without per-second buzzing on your watch

• Add 5 minutes, pause, skip, and undo a wrong tap

• Focus timer for study with daily goal, streaks, weekly chart and a 12-week heatmap

• Export your sessions as CSV, no account needed

• Two home screen widgets that start and pause the timer

• A floating timer over other apps while a session runs (optional, off until you turn it on)

• Timer faces: Ring and Digits, and preview three more on the dial before you choose

• Full-screen focus mode in true black that protects your screen from burn-in

• Works offline, in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, Indonesian, Arabic, Turkish, Russian and Vietnamese

No ads while you focus

The banner leaves the screen whenever a focus session is in progress. There are no ads in notifications, widgets, the floating timer or full-screen mode.

Private by design

No account and no sign-up. Your sessions stay on your phone and in your own Android backup.

Remove ads

One payment removes all ads and adds three more timer faces (Dots, Tide, Sector) and five more alarm sounds. No subscription.
