Forward Email: Private Mail

Forward Email gives you a private, secure inbox on your custom domain, like you@yourdomain.com, with unlimited aliases. You keep your calendar and contacts in the same app as your mail.

We build Forward Email in the open, and you can read the code for this app and for our servers on GitHub.

Privacy

• We store your mailbox in its own encrypted database, and your password unlocks it.

• The app shows no ads and contains no third-party trackers.

• By default the app blocks tracking pixels in your mail, and you can turn off remote images in Settings.

• Turn on App Lock to encrypt the mail on your phone or tablet. Your PIN unlocks it.

• Import your OpenPGP keys to read encrypted mail and send encrypted, signed messages.

Mail

• Get a push notification for new mail through Google's push service, or through a UnifiedPush distributor you choose.

• Schedule a message for any time in the next 30 days, or undo a send before it goes out.

• Search your mail offline from an index on your device.

• Read and write mail without a connection, and the app sends your outbox once you're back online.

• Organize mail with folders and color labels, and read each conversation as a thread.

• On your phone, swipe right to archive and left to delete.

• Set filters that move or label incoming mail before you see it.

• Write in rich text or plain text, with a signature for each account.

• Add your aliases as accounts and send from any of them.

Calendar and contacts

• See your calendar by day or month, and add an event by typing a phrase like "Lunch with Alex tomorrow 12pm-1pm".

• Send invites and answer invitations from your inbox.

• Keep a task list next to your calendar.

• Import calendars from ICS files and contacts from vCards, and export any event or contact to share it.

• Open the same calendars and contacts in other CalDAV and CardDAV apps.
