Math Play: Arithmetic for Kids

Pick an operation and work through 10 questions at a time.

Math Play helps children practice addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Alongside horizontal and vertical sums, there are number bonds, missing numbers, skip counting and tables to fill in. Lessons can be played again for more practice.

Choose what your child is learning

There are 59 lessons: 18 for addition, 19 for subtraction, 10 for multiplication and 12 for division. Start with single-digit calculations or move on to two-digit numbers.

• Addition and subtraction: horizontal and vertical sums, three-number calculations, joining and splitting numbers, and tables

• Multiplication: turning repeated addition into multiplication, skip counting, finding products and filling tables

• Division: quotients and remainders, horizontal and vertical layouts, and missing numbers

Follow the green question mark

The blank to solve is highlighted in green. When a question has several blanks, children fill them in one at a time. Enter an answer with the large number buttons, then tap Check.

Check an answer, then keep going

A green O marks a correct answer and a red X marks an incorrect one. After a short pause, the app moves to the next blank or question. At the end of 10 questions, see how many answers were correct, try the lesson again or choose another one. The app also keeps a count of completed runs for each lesson.

Music and language settings

Background music and sound effects can be switched on or off separately. The app supports English and Korean; change the language in the More menu.
