Chromatic Tuner

Chromatic Tuner listens through your microphone and shows the nearest note and how many cents sharp or flat you are, live. Tune any instrument in chromatic mode, or pick your instrument and tuning and tune string by string.

INSTRUMENTS AND TUNINGS

• Chromatic: any note, for any instrument or your voice

• Guitar: Standard, Half step down, Whole step down, Drop D, Drop C, Double drop D, DADGAD, and Open D, G, E and C

• Bass: Standard, Half step down, Whole step down, Drop D, Drop C and 5-string

• Ukulele: Standard, Low G, D tuning and Baritone

• Violin: Standard, plus the fiddle cross tunings AEAE, GDGD and ADAE

• Viola and cello: standard tuning

• The tuner finds the string you are playing, or tap a string to lock onto it

FOUR WAYS TO SEE YOUR PITCH

• Graph: a scrolling line of your pitch over time, to see how steady your note is

• Bars: an LED-style meter that's easy to read from a distance

• Gauge: a classic needle that settles in the green zone when you're in tune

• Strobe: moving bands that stand still only when you're exactly in tune

Switch between them with one tap on the main screen.

ACCURATE AND ADJUSTABLE

• Precise pitch detection that avoids octave errors on low bass strings and bowed instruments

• Range: ±50, ±25 or ±10 cents, or any custom range from 1 to 100

• A4 calibration from 430 to 450 Hz (440 Hz by default), to match a piano or an orchestra

• Pause button to release the microphone
