User Dictionary Manager (UDM)

Take full control of your Android typing experience with User Dictionary Manager (UDM)—the definitive utility to backup, restore, and organize your custom words and keyboard shortcuts.

Whether you are switching to a new phone, cleaning up annoying predictive text glitches, or moving shortcuts between Google Gboard and Samsung Keyboard, UDM bridges the gap where standard cloud sync fails.

KEY FEATURES

▸ Export & Import: Seamlessly back up your personal dictionary to a text file and restore it on any Android device.

▸ Bulk Management: Add, edit, or delete hundreds of custom words and shortcut expressions simultaneously.

▸ Edit on PC: Export your vocabulary to a standard text file, make quick edits on your computer, and import it back in seconds.

▸ Fix Prediction Issues: Clear out duplicate entries and refresh the Android system database to resolve missing word suggestions.

IMPORTANT PERMISSION NOTE

UDM requires standard access to the built-in Android User Dictionary API. On some Android versions, Google's permission prompt displays this framework capability under a generic group label like "Cards and Billing." UDM does not access, process, or store financial data. It strictly interacts with your device's native personal text database.
