Tails of Iron 2: Blood & Brine

Developed by Odd Bug Studio, it continues Arlo’s story after the main Whiskers of Winter campaign with a trip to Hardshell Brook. Its main attraction is fishing for rare sea creatures while uncovering a darker threat beneath the water. Players looking to download Tails of Iron 2: Blood & Brine should note that the expansion opens only after completing the main campaign. The new content includes the following additions.

• Explore Hardshell Brook, a coastal settlement beyond the frozen northern wastes.

• Complete 11 new quests involving sailors, sea life, and hidden dangers.

• Catch 32 aquatic creatures to help fill a local aquarium.

• Fight 10 bosses with new attacks, hazards, and underwater threats.

• Take part in ship arena battles where combat moves onto the deck.

• Collect nine armour sets, including designs inspired by indie games.

Fishing and coastal combat

Tails of Iron 2: Blood & Brine gives Arlo a fishing rod and 32 creatures to find around Hardshell Brook. Each catch helps Jaimie and Sam build their aquarium, adding a calmer activity between fights. However, some creatures attack instead of taking the bait, so trips to the water can quickly turn into combat.

The coastal story also introduces ship arena battles and bosses built around fresh hazards. New armour sets offer more looks for Arlo before heading into the next difficult encounter.
