Screen Recorder - Android TV

Screen Recorder for Android TV is a smooth, remote-friendly screen recording app built for Android TV and Google TV. Record gameplay, create tutorials, capture apps and menus, or save what's on your TV screen with sound, in the best quality your device can handle. It also works on Android phones and tablets, with a dedicated portrait layout.

SMART QUALITY, SMOOTH RECORDINGS

Auto quality checks your device's encoder and memory, then picks the highest resolution your Android TV or Google TV can record smoothly. Or choose a resolution from 480p up to 4K (as supported by your screen), 24, 30 or 60 FPS, a bitrate from 4 to 20 Mbps, and H.264 or H.265 (HEVC). Audio and video stay in sync.

RECORD TV SOUND OR YOUR VOICE

Choose Device audio, Microphone or silent. Device audio captures the sound of the app you record, without menu clicks or notification sounds. The Microphone option appears on devices with a built-in microphone.

RECORD VIDEOS STORED ON YOUR TV

Some TV players block screen capture. With Open Video, play a video saved on your device in the built-in player, so both picture and sound are recorded. You can also open videos from your file manager with "Open with".

SEND RECORDINGS TO YOUR PHONE WITH A QR CODE

Select Share, scan the QR code with your phone and download the video over your home Wi-Fi. No cloud, no account, no upload.

DESIGNED FOR YOUR TV REMOTE

This screen recorder is built for the D-pad, with clear focus and simple navigation from your couch. Set a 3 to 30 second countdown, pause and resume anytime (paused parts are cut from the video), and stop when you're done. On phones, control recording right from the notification.

YOUR RECORDINGS LIBRARY

Every video from Screen Recorder for Android TV is saved to the Download/SCRecorder folder. Watch your recordings in the built-in player, send them to your phone or delete them.
