  Updated on Oct 19, 2026

  • Added: back up your whole library to one file, and restore it — every board, image, finished piece and note. Replace everything, add to what you have, or pick the boards you want
  • Added: backing up and restoring are free, not a Pro feature
  • Added: a short tour when you first open Proref, and a separate one for your art journey — replay either from Settings
  • Fixed: the journey tour now shows its own example piece when you already have work of your own

  • Rearrange the buttons on a board — reorder them within their group and hide the ones you never use (Pro)
  • The controls layout page now fits any space; beside another app it becomes a list you can read
  • Resize the board's buttons and panels in Settings, with a live preview
  • Copy or move images to another board
  • Redeem a Proref Pro code from the Pro screen
  • Pro features now show a small crown, so you can see what's included before you tap

  The art journey is here.

  • Keep every finished piece on a dated timeline — swipe it as a gallery or scan it as a list
  • Attach a piece to the board it came from
  • Say what worked and what didn't while it's fresh, and star what to carry forward
  • Starred notes sit on the board while you draw the next piece
  • Hitting a free limit now explains it, and offers the unlock
  • A new app icon, and dozens of smaller fixes
