PrayFocus: Prayer App Lock

Put prayer before distraction.

PrayFocus is a prayer and focus app that helps you build a consistent prayer habit while becoming more intentional about your screen time.

Choose the apps that distract you most. When you try to open a protected app, PrayFocus gives you a moment to pause and pray first. Complete a short guided prayer, then continue to the app with a clearer mind and renewed focus.

You can also create daily prayer schedules for the moments that matter to you: morning, midday, evening, or whenever you want to make time for prayer.

🙏 PRAY BEFORE DISTRACTING APPS

Choose apps you want to protect, such as social media, video, or games.

When you open a protected app:

• Pause before the distraction

• Check in with how you're feeling

• Choose what you need right now

• Follow a short guided prayer

• Spend a quiet moment reflecting

• Continue with greater intention

PrayFocus creates a simple pause between impulse and action.

⏰ BUILD A DAILY PRAYER ROUTINE

Create prayer reminders around your own schedule.

Set a morning prayer, midday pause, evening prayer, or any other time that works for you.

Prayer schedules are separate from App Protection, so you can build a regular prayer routine while keeping distracting apps protected throughout the day.

💭 PRAY FOR HOW YOU FEEL

Every moment is different.

Start by choosing how you feel, such as:

• Peaceful

• Anxious

• Frustrated

• Grateful

• Low

• Lost

Then choose what you need:

• Peace

• Strength

• Guidance

• Patience

• Gratitude

• Forgiveness

PrayFocus uses your selections to guide you toward a prayer that fits the moment.

🌿 TAKE A QUIET MOMENT

Prayer doesn't need to be complicated.

Move through a simple guided prayer, then spend a short moment in quiet reflection before continuing your day.

When a prayer was started from a protected app, completing it gives you temporary access to that app before protection returns.

🔥 BUILD YOUR PRAYER STREAK

Small habits become meaningful routines.

PrayFocus helps you keep track of:

• Your current prayer streak

• Your best streak

• Daily prayers

• Scheduled prayers completed

• Total prayer time

• Prayer history

See your progress and keep making space for prayer each day.

🛡️ PROTECT YOUR FOCUS

App Protection helps create intentional friction before opening distracting apps.

Instead of automatically checking social media or entertainment apps, you get a simple reminder:

Pause. Pray. Then decide where your attention should go.

You choose which apps to protect.

📱 DESIGNED FOR PRAYER AND FOCUS

PrayFocus combines:

• Daily prayer reminders

• Guided prayer

• Prayer schedules

• App protection

• Focus and screen-time awareness

• Mood check-ins

• Prayer intentions

• Prayer streaks

• Prayer history

Whether you want to pray more consistently, reduce social media distractions, improve your focus, or simply create more intentional moments throughout your day, PrayFocus gives you a simple way to put prayer first.

Accessibility API Usage:

PrayFocus uses the Android AccessibilityService API as a core feature to detect when you attempt to open protected apps. When a protected app is launched, this service identifies the event and displays the intervention screen, allowing you to pause, complete a prayer, and regain focus. This API is strictly used for app protection and does not collect or share personal data.

Overlay Permission Usage:

PrayFocus uses the SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW (Overlay) permission to display the prayer and focus screen directly over other apps when a protected app is launched, allowing you to seamlessly pause and return to focus.
