Your phone should feel like yours. MTZ Studio is an MTZ theme editor for turning your own icons, wallpapers, fonts, and color choices into a theme you can keep refining. Start with an idea, bring your files, and make room for your style.

🎨 CREATE A THEME YOUR WAY

Open an empty project or import an existing MTZ file to edit its supported resources. Build around a photo you love, a restrained palette, or a set of icons with character. New projects start empty: there are no bundled stock themes, icon packs, or wallpapers. You choose what goes into your design.

🖼️ BRING WALLPAPERS AND ICONS TOGETHER

Add your own images for the home screen and lock screen. Import icon images and assign them to the apps or package names you want to customize. A coordinated wallpaper and a few carefully chosen icons can give your project a clear direction. Keep trying combinations as your idea takes shape.

🔤 CHOOSE THE FONT THAT FITS

Add and select your own TTF or OTF font files for the theme. Pair a different typeface with your chosen backgrounds and icons to change the feel of your design. The selected font becomes part of your exported MTZ alongside the other resources in your project.

🧩 REFINE YOUR THEME COLORS

Edit the color values detected in the theme's supported XML resources. Adjust those available values to develop your palette and coordinate the parts of the imported theme you can edit. Build your palette around those editable values and your chosen backgrounds and icons. Available resources depend on the project.

📁 KEEP PROJECTS AND MATERIALS READY

Save editable projects on your device and return to them later. Use undo and redo while you work, and keep reusable assets in your library so the files you like are ready for another idea. Try a calmer version, change a background, or revisit a detail without treating your first draft as final.

💾 FROM AN IDEA TO A REAL MTZ FILE

A practical way to begin: create or import a project, add wallpapers, assign icons, select a font, and adjust the available colors. Save the project to continue editing. When you want the theme file, export and save the actual .mtz file to a location you choose. Add the theme name, description, and author or designer details to give your work its own identity. Saving a project and saving an MTZ file are separate actions; keeping the project lets you return and export another version.

PRO is a one-time in-app purchase with no subscription. It unlocks mixing components from themes, bulk icon importing, bulk color tools, advanced editing of XML, TXT, and JSON resources, and translation of text within themes. PRO also removes ads and the rewarded-video requirement for saving MTZ files. Choose the workflow that fits how you create.

📱 APPLYING YOUR THEME

Applying MTZ files on Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO depends on the device, MIUI or HyperOS version, region, and import restrictions in the system Themes app. Exporting a file does not automatically apply the theme to your phone. Compatibility with every device or theme component is not guaranteed.
