Take the gunner's seat of an AC-130 circling overhead. Through the thermal camera, the dead pour toward your bunker — hold the line.

Start with the 25mm Gatling and 40mm Bofors and earn promotions to unlock the 105mm howitzer, 7.62mm minigun, 30mm Bushmaster, high-energy laser, GBU-39 glide bomb, Mk 19 grenade launcher, Griffin guided missile, Active Denial microwave beam and white phosphorus airburst. Try a locked weapon for one sortie before you earn it.

■ A new build every run

Equip three weapons before each sortie (a fourth slot opens with promotion) and pick upgrades as you level up. Every weapon has three paths, evolutions and ultimates, so the same gun grows differently every time.

■ 16 operations around the world

Seoul, Beijing, Kyoto, Osaka Castle, Shibuya, Asakusa, Giza, Berlin, Moscow, the Tower of London, Rome, Notre-Dame de Paris, Washington D.C., Las Vegas, a New Orleans cemetery, a harbor... each city's landmark is the bunker you defend.

■ Giants and bosses

Onslaughts grow as the clock runs, led by giants and armored zombies. Bring down each city's boss and collect stars.

■ A world at war

Requests for air support pile up from cities under attack. Save cities in crisis to earn medals, then return to liberated cities in endless survival.

White-hot and black-hot thermal views, gun sights and ammo readouts, collapsing bunkers and hordes blown apart.
