FloatTimer+: Floating Timer

FloatTimer+ is a floating timer that stays on top of any app, with a tally counter and a stopwatch that float the same way. Time a recipe while you cook, keep rest periods during a workout, count reps or laps with a tap, or keep a 25-minute study session in view — without leaving the app you are in.

Free to use with ads. Pro makes sure you never miss a timer — a full-screen alert even with the screen off, your own alarm sound and automatic repeats — and removes the ads and the limit on floating timers. Choose monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase.

WHAT IT DOES

• Countdown timers, tally counters and stopwatches that float over any app. Create as many as you need and run several at once

• Home screen widget: tap a timer to float it and start it right away

• Start, pause and reset right on the floating timer, with a bar that shows the time left

• Drag the overlay anywhere, or drag it onto the X at the bottom to close it. Collapse it to a bubble, shrink it to just the icon, or tuck it half out of view at the screen edge

• Countdowns in hours, minutes and seconds, with 1, 5, 10, 25, 30 and 60-minute presets plus fine adjustment. "Save and start" begins a new timer in one tap

• Tally counter: tap to count up or down right on the overlay, in steps of 1, 2, 5 or 10

• Multiple stopwatches, each tracked separately

• Size, opacity and background color for each item — switch opacity (100, 70 or 40%) straight from the overlay's ⋮ menu

GETTING STARTED

1. Open FloatTimer+ and allow "Display over other apps" when asked.

2. Add a timer, counter or stopwatch and show it as a floating overlay.

3. Go back to any app. The overlay stays on top until you close it.

FAQ

Q. The timer does not appear over other apps.

A. Android needs the "Display over other apps" permission. Turn it on for FloatTimer+ in your phone's Settings → Apps.

Q. Does the timer keep running when I leave the app or turn off the screen?

A. Yes. It keeps running in the background and plays a sound and vibration when it finishes. With Pro, a full-screen alert also appears, even when the screen is off.

Q. Can I back up my timers?

A. Yes. Export your timers, counters and stopwatches to a file and restore them anytime, either merged with what you have or replacing it.
