FB2 Editor

Edit FictionBook (FB2) ebooks right on your Android phone.

Open a book, fix the details, change the cover, rewrite a chapter and save it back as FB2, all without a computer. FB2 Editor also reads EPUB and TXT, and exports to FB2, EPUB or TXT.

EDIT YOUR BOOK

• Open .fb2, .zip (with an FB2 inside), .epub and .txt files, no storage permission needed

• Rich-text editor: headers, bold, italic, links, colors, lists, poems, undo/redo

• Find and replace across the book

• Add, rename, reorder and delete sections; add or remove pictures inside chapters

• Edit book info: title, author, genre, series, annotation, language, keywords

• Change the cover

• Start a new book from scratch, or add another book's sections to the one you have open

• Old Cyrillic (Windows-1251) books and slightly damaged files still open

• A .bak safety copy is kept when you save

VOICE INPUT

Dictate instead of typing: tap the microphone in the paragraph editor, Book info, Find & Replace or Ask, and speak. Recording lasts up to 5 minutes at a time. English, Russian and Hebrew.

• Recognition runs on your device; your audio is never sent anywhere

• Optional: switch it on in Settings, then download the 375 MB speech model once. After that it works offline

STORY MAP

See who and what appears in which section. The map is built from your text on your device. Add and edit characters, places, events and lore, connect them, mark where they appear, then filter, search and zoom. Open a map for a single section right from the editor. It is saved inside the FB2 file, and other readers ignore it.

CHECK NAMES

Finds names the book spells in more than one way (Фёдор and Федор, Ivan and Иван) so you can make them consistent. It works offline.

AI TOOLS (OPTIONAL)

Connect your own Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic account with your API key.

• Proofread, shorten, restyle or give your own instruction, then compare before and after. Nothing changes until you accept

• Summarise part of the book or ask questions about it

• Long sections are processed in parts

• Nothing is sent unless you ask, and your key stays on your device
