CineDash

CineDash is a video editing app for turning your own recordings into personal video projects. Start with something you have filmed and decide what you want the finished video to say.

Find the focus

A recording can hold more than one idea: the feeling of arriving somewhere, a detail you noticed, or a moment with someone you know. Pick one idea to guide your project. A clear focus gives you a useful starting point when editing your video.

Look at the everyday

Your next project does not need to begin with a special occasion. A walk through a familiar neighborhood, something you made, or a small part of your daily routine can be worth a closer look. Use video editing to explore what interests you in your own footage.

Think about the viewer

You might be making a video for yourself, for a friend, or for someone who was not there. Consider what they will understand from the recording and what you want them to notice. That perspective can help you decide how to approach your edit.

Give an idea room to develop

A personal project can begin with a question rather than a finished plan. What caught your attention? What feeling do you want to keep? Return to those questions as you work with your recording and shape your video.

Make something that feels personal

CineDash is built around video editing with your own material. The subject, the intention, and the creative choices belong to you. Work on a travel memory, a record of a hobby, or an ordinary scene that deserves a second look.

Begin with your footage. Find your point of view. Make a video around it.
