APK extractor

Apk extractor turns installed Android apps into files you can keep or share, with package details available before you export.

Find the app you need

Browse separate User apps and System apps tabs. Search by app name or package name, then sort alphabetically, by package name, or by APK size. Open an app's details to see its version, package ID, installation and update dates, and Android API information where available.

Choose the right export

For a single-APK app, extract an .apk file. For a split app, choose the base APK alone or a complete ZIP archive containing its installed base and split APK files. The complete export includes a readme describing the package contents and installation options.

A base-only export can be smaller, but may fail to install or lack resources without its split files. Complete exports preserve the installed APK set; compatibility with another device is not guaranteed. Installing a split set requires a separate compatible installer or other suitable tools.

Save and share

Use Android's share chooser to send the exported file through a compatible app. On Android 10 and later, the export is also saved in Downloads/tempApkFiles. These are copies of application packages, not backups of personal app data, accounts, or settings.

Inspect installed packages

View the base and split APK files and their sizes. Check requested permissions and their reported grant status. Explore declared activities, services, broadcast receivers, and providers. Review signing-certificate details and calculate SHA-256 checksums for individual installed APK files. A checksum identifies file contents; it does not certify that an app is safe.

Everyday app actions

Launch an app, open its Android App info screen, or request an uninstall through the system confirmation flow. System apps may be visible for inspection without being removable.
