xADAS: AI Following Distance

xADAS estimates the distance to the vehicle ahead in your lane with an AI model that runs right on your phone, with no internet needed. Get too close and the distance turns red. No account, no ads and no video recording.

★ AI DISTANCE ESTIMATION, ON YOUR PHONE

• The AI model runs on the phone, finds your lane and the vehicle ahead, and estimates the distance in real time

• Works fully offline: no images are uploaded and no mobile data is needed

• Camera source: your phone's rear camera on the windshield, or a Wi‑Fi dashcam or USB camera you already own (supported dashcams include the 70mai A500S, A810 and M310 Pro and the AZCAM G1)

• Your lane is drawn right on the camera image, readable at a glance

★ A RED WARNING WHEN YOU'RE TOO CLOSE

• Shows your GPS speed, the estimated distance and the minimum gap for your speed

• Set the gap you want to keep: 1 to 3 seconds (2 seconds by default), checked from 25 mph (40 km/h)

• Distances in mph and feet or km/h and meters

• When the estimated distance is shorter than the minimum, the screen turns red. With Pro, a chime plays too

• In rain, fog, on slippery roads or steep grades, keep a bigger gap than the one shown

• Dark background mode cuts glare and distraction when driving at night

★ NO RECORDING – PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

• xADAS does not record, store or send images or video; every frame is processed on the phone

• No location coordinates or trip history are stored

• No account, no ads

• A technical diagnostics session is sent only when you tap send, and never contains images, video, audio or coordinates

★ RUNS ON A WIDE RANGE OF PHONES

• Tests the GPU on first launch and switches to the CPU when needed

• Lowers its processing rate, or pauses the AI, when the phone gets too hot

• Helps you level the phone mount during setup

★ XADAS PRO

A one-time in-app purchase on Google Play, with no subscription to renew. Pro adds:

• A chime when the distance turns red

• A floating distance window over other apps, such as your navigation app

• Your own start speed and dark-mode timing

• The option to hide the lead-vehicle marker and the DriveDeck logo

• Sharing the distance with compatible apps

Your purchase is tied to your Google account and restores automatically when you reinstall.

PERMISSIONS

• Camera: detects lanes and the vehicle ahead, on the device

• Precise location: GPS speed, the minimum gap and mount leveling. You can deny it, but features that need speed may not work fully

• Display over other apps (optional, Pro): shows the floating distance window

REQUIREMENTS

Android 10 or later and a 64-bit (arm64) phone with a rear camera, or a compatible Wi‑Fi dashcam or USB camera. Performance depends on your hardware.

They can be wrong or update late because of lighting, weather, obstructions, mounting position and device performance, and a warning may not appear or may appear in error. The app does not control your vehicle and does not replace your attention, judgment or responsibility as the driver. Mount the phone only where local law allows. Install and adjust it only while parked in a safe place, and never let it block your view or an airbag.
