Frostdial: Glass Widgets

Frostdial makes aesthetic glass widgets for your home screen: clock, date, weather, battery, calendar, photo, countdown and text widgets that sit well on your wallpaper. 20 designs come with the app, and Pro adds 49 more.

FOUR STYLES FOR EVERY WIDGET

• Glass: transparent widgets with a thin bright edge and a transparency slider

• Frost: frosted glass made from your wallpaper photo. Line it up once and each widget shows the part of the photo behind it

• Match: follows your wallpaper colors on Android 12 and later

• Solid: light or dark

Everyone can try Frost with a beach sample wallpaper. Frost with your own wallpaper photo is part of Pro.

98 FONTS THAT SHOW UP ON YOUR HOME SCREEN

Dates, labels, battery numbers, city names and your own text are drawn in the font you pick. 18 fonts are included and Pro unlocks all 98. Clock digits use your phone's closest font, so the clock keeps ticking without Frostdial running.

TEXT, CLOCK AND PANEL

Text size, alignment, case, text color, a soft shadow, seconds, leading zero, date formats, rounded corners and 66 color themes for aesthetic widgets in one tap. Copy a style from one widget and paste it on another. Pro adds a second text color, a strong shadow, letter spacing, gradients, frost and grain textures, custom borders and saved presets.

WEATHER WIDGETS

The weather widget shows current weather for a city you search or your approximate location, in °C or °F, refreshed about every hour. Pro adds a 3-day forecast, hourly weather and clock with weather. Weather data: MET Norway.

PHOTO WIDGETS

A photo widget puts your picture on the home screen in a rounded, circle or squircle shape, with an optional caption. Photos are picked with the Android photo picker and stay on your phone. Pro adds heart, star, flower and arch shapes, filters, frames and albums of up to 10 photos that change every 1, 3, 6 or 24 hours.

COUNTDOWNS, TEXT AND PROGRESS

Count the days to a trip or since a big day, write your own note, and watch the year, month, week or day fill up. Pro adds a live countdown, ring and card designs, progress rings and dots, and a daily public-domain quote in English.

CLOCK, DATE, BATTERY AND CALENDAR

Clock widget, date widget and battery designs include Big clock, Stacked clock, Minimal analog, Big date, Battery ring, Month calendar, Today's agenda and more. Today's agenda asks for calendar access only when you choose it, and your events are read on your phone only.

PREVIEW, ADD, EDIT LATER

Preview your glass widgets on your own wallpaper photo before you add them, then tap "Add to home screen". In My widgets you can change a widget's style, font or colors without adding it again. A widget can also open the app you choose.
