Charge Pilot

Charge Pilot brings battery monitoring, supported charging controls and local measurements into Overview, Records and Settings. Controls follow actual device capabilities, not a fixed model-name screen. Monitoring and Charging Lab remain useful without control access.

Find device guidance from Overview. Charging Lab keeps Start easy to reach and groups optional observation labels, notes and calibration while preserving your selections. Clearer operation labels and layouts support larger text.

CONTROL THAT STAYS EXPLICIT

• On supported Samsung firmware, keep bypass requested while plugged in, or charge to a 20–100% target before requesting bypass. Charging can resume five percentage points below the target.

• Use manual control, stop automation or restore the original setting saved during setup.

• See requested policy, setting or actuator readback, and battery observations separately. Unknown or stale evidence is not displayed as a successful OFF state.

LOCAL CONNECTION OPTIONS

• Built-in local ADB: pair this phone through Android Wireless debugging. No desktop computer is required after setup.

• Shizuku: install and start the separate Shizuku app, then grant permission.

• Modify system settings: available only where the detected control supports Android's special access.

• Optional Root bridge: press Connect to request authorization. A separately installed, compatible controller and verified capability report are also required. Permission alone does not enable control.

Pairing or connecting does not enable a plan. Charge Pilot does not silently switch connections. The APK does not install, start or replace a Root controller or change its boot entry. Legacy controller reports are read-only. The new controller adapter still needs physical-device write and reboot validation; support for all rooted phones is not claimed.

CHARGING LAB

In Records, start a visible, read-only recording of battery level, current, charge counter, voltage, temperature, power source, screen state and charging-control observations. Compare saved sessions and export CSV + JSON through Android's document picker. Recordings stay on the device until you export or delete them. Stopping a recording does not change charging control.

PRIVACY

No account, ads, analytics, crash reporter, subscription or in-app purchase. Charging records are not uploaded. Full's Internet permission supports local ADB sockets and Android local-network service discovery; there is no cloud service.

COMPATIBILITY AND LIMITS

Samsung settings control depends on firmware, charger and Game Booster conditions. It only uses an already-present, allowlisted setting after disclosure and firmware-bound consent. Root operations depend on the controller's advertised capabilities and verified readback. Observing an external controller can block another writer until a reviewed handover; disconnecting does not prove it stopped.

OEM thermal and battery-protection settings are not overridden. Setting readback, charging inhibition or near-zero battery current does not prove the phone's internal electrical power path. Bypass is not guaranteed on every device; Lab provides observations, not electrical certification.
